HHH In Line For Major Movie Role?, RAW/U.S Open Conflict No-More

Triple H is said to be in the running for the lead role in Marvel's upcoming movie Thor, which is scheduled to be released in late spring 2010. The other lead candidate for the role is Kevin McKidd of HBO's Rome series.

Rey Mysterio is currently on a media tour in China, and it just so happens that a magnitude 7.9 earthquake hit the country during one of his appearances on Monday afternoon. The earthquake has accumulated a death toll of more than 8,600. Mysterio was forced to evacuate a TV station in Xian when the earthquake struck. He headed back to his hotel for safety. His wife Angie is on tour with him too.

WWE Monday Night Raw will no longer be bumped for the U.S. Open on the USA Network as ESPN signed a six-year deal to gain the rights for the U.S. Open today. This will go into effect in 2009, so USA will still have it in September and it is doubtful they will bump Raw for it. USA has had the rights to the U.S. Open since 1985.

The WrestleMania XXIV DVD is due out on 5/20.
